| Tarhana Soup |
Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter
1+1/2 tablespoons mint
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 glass tarhana (dry)
1200 g water
1+1/2 teaspoon salt
Cooking Instructions
First dissolve tarhana in water, add the salt and cook for ten minutes. Melt butter, add mint and red pepper and stir a few times and sprinkle over the soup. while preparing the soup, pre-cooked chickpeas, pre-cooked dried white beans optional browned ground meat and green peppers are also added.
