| Meat With Cabbage |
Ingredients
1/2 Lb. stew lean meat
1 cabbage (small, chopped)
1 can 14 1/2 oz. stewed tomatoes
1 onion (medium, chopped)
1 carrot (big, chopped)
5 mushrooms (chopped)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon hot red pepper paste
1/4 glass red wine
1/4 glass olive oil
2 glasses water
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Cooking Instructions
Cut the meat pieces into thin slices. Saute chopped onions, carrots, mushrooms with meat. Add wine, red pepper paste, salt, pepper, water and boil until meat is tender for almost 45 minutes on medium heat. Add chopped cabbage and sugar. Cover and cook until cabbage is soft for almost twenty minutes. Serve with red wine and fresh baked bread.
