| Fried Green Tomatoes |
Ingredients
3 green tomatoes (large-sizes)
1 glass yellow cornmeal
1/2 glass vegetable oil
black pepper
salt
Cooking Instructions
Firstly slice tomatoes into 0,6 cm pieces. Sprinkle both sides with pepper and salt. Dredge tomato slices in cornmeal until coated. Let dry for five to ten minutes. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully slip as many tomato slices as would fit without overlapping. Fry slices, turning once, almost five minutes, until tender and golden brown on both sides. Place on plates covered with paper towels to drain, and repeat with remaining slices. Enjoy.
