| Dried Fig Dessert |
Ingredients
280 g dried figs
1/2 glass sugar
Garnish:
1/4 glass walnuts (crumbled)
Cooking Instructions
First put the figs in a pot and cover them with water. Boil for almost twenty minutes until they are softened over medium heat. Drain and cut off the stalks. Place them in a medium pot and put the sugar on top. Add 2/3 glass water and cook almost twenty-five minutes on medium-low heat. If necessary add more water. Leave some juice in it at almost the same height as the top of the figs. Place on a service plate. Let cool, later garnish with walnut crumbs.
